GPC to Host Education Transfer Fair on Feb. 22

Georgia Perimeter College will host an Education Transfer Fair and Education Forum from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22 at the Clarkston Campus. The innovative program is designed to provide information to education majors on transferring to four-year institutions and strategies to best prepare for a career in the education field.

 

“Given the need for well-qualified teachers in Georgia, we are committed to preparing the best students to pursue education degrees at four-year institutions in Georgia,” said Tiffany Flowers, education program coordinator and instructor of education at GPC. Georgia Perimeter offers associate of science degrees in education.

 

The Education Transfer Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in GPC Clarkston’s Student Center. The Education Forum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the JCLRC Auditorium. The free event is sponsored by GPC Online.
