ERICA MILEY Lab Technician E-mail

Erica Miley was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Gallaudet University where she was initially an accounting major. She was an expert Math student - until she took her first Linguistics class. This class opened her eyes to the language differences between ASL and English. She has now changed her major to American Sign Language Instructor with a minor in Deaf Studies. This has extended her time in college another three years!                                    Erica was a residential advisor at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf at Gallaudet for six years. She loves working with high school students. But she decided it was time for a career change and a move to Georgia to be near her family. She is continuing her last year of education online with Gallaudet while she works for us here at GPC. She enjoys teaching others who are motivated to learn ASL!
