The Interpreter Training Society (ITS) is made up of alumni, future, and current students of Georgia Perimeter College’s Sign Language Interpreter Program. ITS’s main goal is to have workshops for the members of the group to further their education and understanding of the profession of interpreting. ITS has multiple fundraisers in order to obtain enough money to have respectable workshops for the members. Selling bumper stickers is the newest idea for fundraising thought up by the 2003-2004 board members. These bumper stickers are $1.00 each. The top says Interpreter Training Society, to the left of Georgia Perimeter College is the sign for I Love You and to the right is the sign for Interpreter. By purchasing a bumper sticker you are supporting not only ITS and the students of Georgia Perimeter College, you are also supporting the profession of interpreting. Make checks payable to ITS.
