RE: FY 2014 Student Activity Fee Budget Request Process
In accordance with the Student Activity Fee Financial code policies and procedures that support the Board of Regents' policy on Mandatory Student fees (704.201), the Student Activity Fee Budget Committee is now accepting proposals for FY14. The funding request for student programs and events must support the Guiding Principles. All interested parties are encouraged to apply for funding at this time. Funds are limited and future requests for assistance cannot be guaranteed. The budget request forms are currently online at Student Activity Fee 2014.
Student Activity Fee Budget Request Deadlines
January 18, 2013 Application Due
February 8, 2013 Campus Budget Hearings and Deliberations
February 15, 2013 College-wide Budget Hearings
February 22, 2013 College-wide Budget Hearings (if necessary)
March 1, 2013 Hearing Deliberations
Award Notifications Late May - Early June contingent upon approval
Completing the Applications:

Review the Guiding Principles to ensure requests are aligned with the college's mission statement.

Complete the SAF 2013-2014 budget request application and budget request justification in its entirety. Be specific and include as much information as possible.

Provide confirmation of filed club charter with the Office of Student Life.

Email completed COLLEGE-WIDE budget request application forms to Michelle Solomon at Michelle.Solomon@gpc.edu no later than January 18, 2013.

Email completed CAMPUS budget request applications to the respective Office of Student Life no later than January 18, 2013.
