Ebola Protocol

 Protocol for all GPC faculty, staff and students who have recently traveled to or are planning to travel to Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia.

Who to contact upon return

  • GPC faculty and staff: Prior to returning to work after travel, GPC faculty/staff should Student Health Services 678-891-4105.
  • GPC students: Prior to returning to campus/classes, GPC students with recent travel to the countries listed above should contact Student Health Services 678-891-4105 

Procedures for 21 days

GPC faculty/staff and students should check their temperature and report any symptoms, including headache, joint/muscle aches, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain or lack of appetite once daily from the first day of their return from travel and for 21 days thereafter.   • In the event of onset of a fever of 100 degrees or higher or any of the symptoms listed above, DO NOT REPORT TO WORK OR SCHOOL.

The Student Health Center's Mobile Unit

Georgia Perimeter College's Student Health Center opened in 2011. We are committed to creating a healthier student body.  GPC Student Health Center strives to help each student attain his or her best possible health.  We provide courteous, professional, and prompt services.  We offer high quality healthcare at low to no cost.  Check out our Fees

The center is led by a Medical Director and staffed with a Nurse Practitioner, RN, and Medical Assistant to address your healthcare needs.  Our friendly front office staff will assist you with making appointments. Our clinic is located on the Clarkston Campus, H building, Room 1210.  Our Mobile clinic serves the Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Decatur, and Newton Campuses.  You are urged to take advantage of the great services we have to offer.

 Appointments:  In order to serve everyone efficiently, we prefer that you schedule an appointment. This helps us maximize the amount of time that you get to spend with our provider, while minimizing the amount of time you spend waiting.  Make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete any necessary forms. Forms may be completed prior to appointment by downloading and bringing in at scheduled appointment. All clients must complete a Health History Form prior to being seen by the provider. If you are not able to make your appointment or you're going to be late please call and let us know, to avoid a $5 fee. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please reschedule.
