Payroll Assistant I works with the Decatur, Dunwoody and Alpharetta campuses, ensuring that employee payroll reports are submitted correctly and on time. This position is responsible for the data entry and auditing of payroll documents and calculations and for ensuring accuracy of employee's pay.

Barbara Dowdy - (678) 891-2653
Payroll Assistant II, has worked in Payroll Services at GPC since 1994. She works with the Clarkston and Newton campuses, ensuring that employee payroll reports are submitted correctly and on time. She is responsible for the data entry and auditing of payroll documents and calculations and for ensuring accuracy of employee's pay. Barbara also processes the off-cycle payrolls.

Valerie Harper - (678) 891-2649
Payroll Manager, has worked in Payroll Services at GPC since 1986. She is responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day payroll operation, which includes payroll production, record keeping, and payment of payroll taxes. She is also responsible for the reviewing and investigation of procedures and issues that relate to payroll functions. She supervises the activities of two Payroll Assistants

Coordinator-Payroll Services, has worked in Payroll Services at GPC since 1993. She is responsible for the payroll accounting functions, including monthly reconcilement and payment of the approximately 52 benefits and tax accounts, employee wage garnishments, quarterly balancing of federal and state taxes, and annual reconcilement of W-2's.
