BECOME A TEACHER AND DARE TO TOUCH THE FUTURE!
GPC offers the Associates of Science (AS) degree in Education that is designed to transfer to baccalaureate programs leading to teacher certification. Students interested in becoming a highly qualified teacher at the Early Childhood Education/Elementary, Middle School or Secondary level may complete the first two years of college here and transfer to senior colleges and universities to complete their programs.
The pre-professional core courses required for all Education majors:

| EDUC 2120* | Exploring Socio-Cultural Perspectives on Diversity |
| EDUC 2130 | Exploring Teaching and Learning |
| *Carries a 15 hour field experience
component.

In addition, students majoring in Early Childhood Education must also take the following courses: |
