From I-285 take Exit 48 (Flat Shoals Rd and Parkway). Flat Shoals Rd changes name to Flat Shoals Parkway as it crosses I-285. Flat Shoals Rd is on the Atlanta side (inside the beltway).

If you were coming from the South and, therefore, exiting outside the beltway, proceed as follows:
Exit I-285, turning right onto Flat Shoals Parkway.
At the first traffic light, turn right onto Clifton Springs Rd.
Proceed to the next traffic light and turn left onto Panthersville Rd.
Keep to the right on Panthersville Rd. Turn right just before the lane ends into the last entrance to Parking lot #5 of the DeKalb H.S. of Technology.
Proceed to the back of the lot for the entrance to the garden.
If you were coming from the North and, therefore, exiting inside the beltway, proceed as follows:
Exit I-285, turning right onto Flat Shoals Rd.
From Flat Shoals Rd turn left at the first traffic light onto Panthersville Rd.
Proceed on Panthersville Rd. You will pass the GBI building on your right.
Proceed through the traffic light for Clifton Springs Rd.
Keep to the right on Panthersville Rd. Turn right just before the lane ends into the last entrance to Parking lot #5 of the DeKalb H.S. of Technology.
Proceed to the back of the lot for the entrance to the garden.
