Georgia Perimeter College Chorus
consists of enrolled students who have a keen love of choral music.
The purpose of chorus as an academic class (MUSC 1652) is to provide
appropriate choral performing opportunities for students seeking music
as a major course of study. The class is also open to non-music
majors and community participants who desire to sing fine choral
literature reflecting a wide variety of styles and cultures. Literature
is selected to provide an enjoyable musical experience, to enhance
musical skills and knowledge, to chorally prepare students for
transfer to four-year institutions, and to provide suitable concert
opportunities.
GPC Community Wind Ensemble consists of dedicated
musicians who have a common interest in playing music and improving their
skills while having fun. In addition to music written for concert band, its
repertoire includes contemporary, classical, patriotic, pop, marches and
Broadway show tunes.
The band is available for seasonal concerts
