| Catalog Description | |
This course is designed for student who have had little or no prior individual instruction in voice. The class introduces beginning vocal technique in such areas as posture, breathing, exercises correct vowel formation, diction, rhythm and pitch. The course also includes instruction in practicing and preparing songs to perform. Students are expected to sing individually as well as with the group during class time and for the final exam. Any student who wishes to register for individual lessons in a subsequent term must pass this course with a B or better. This course is not intended for music majors. No additional music fee for this class. | |
