Volunteer opportunities for men and women, working and retired, and families and singles are available and can vary depending on your interests and the amount of time you can share.

All active volunteers are asked to participate in a minimum of two symphony activities per season.

Mission

The DSO Guild is a volunteer organization dedicated to the support of the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra through educational, promotional, and fundraising activities.

Objectives

• To support the mission of the DSO
• To develop and maintain a strong volunteer corps
• To increase public awareness of the DSO
• To explore, develop, organize, promote, and sustain fundraising events
• To promote music appreciation and educational opportunities throughout the community

Examples of Guild Activities

• Host post-concert receptions and handle merchandise and information table at subscription series concerts
• Handle the decoration, refreshments and activities tables for Children's Concert
• Host annual season subscriber and donor reception
• Represent the DSO at Community Concert and Summer Pops Concerts
• Organize annual DSO picnic
