Georgia Perimeter College has a plan....to improve student learning....Engagement Drives GPC Education!
The core purpose of the EDGE Initiative is to bring learning to life over the next five years for progressively more GPC students through substantially expanded engaged learning in relevant, real-world, meaningful, leading-EDGE experiences, inside and outside of the classroom. GPC's QEP aims to improve student learning through the use of engaged learning in the classroom. Specifically, the QEP targets four enagaged pedagogies: collaborative learning, problem-based learning, service learning, and community-based research. Faculty interested in participating in the QEP should contact any staff member of the QEP office by calling 678.891.2305 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
GPC will be expected to report on the results of its QEP as part of the Fifth-Year Interim Report, due in 2019.
