Faculty Mentors are assigned to each GPC campus to provide ongoing support and mentoring to Learning Support Mathematics faculty to address concerns faced by African American male students. Throughout the semester, Faculty Mentors are also available to provide mentoring to African American male students enrolled in Learning Support Mathematics during their normal office hours.

Beginning in fall 2013, Project RAISE faculty mentors began presenting R.A.A.P. Sessions. R.A.A.P. (Retention, Academic Achievement & Persistence ) Sessions are informal yet engaging mentorship meeting that are geared toward increasing the academic achievement, retention and graduation rates of African American male students enrolled in Learning Support Mathematics. R.A.A.P. Sessions are facilitated by Project RAISE faculty mentors and staff on each GPC campus twice per month.
