Presidential Task Force: Diversity
Committee Charge: To develop a recommended Inclusion/Diversity Plan for Georgia Perimeter College that fulfills establishing a clear link to the institutional strategic plan; to focus on 3-5 general areas or topics within the subject of diversity/inclusion; to support GPC's efforts to build global and cross-cultural competencies among its faculty, students, and employees; to provide 3-5 specific action items with time lines for each of the general topics/areas identified; to include method(s) of measurement and to identify an individual responsible for each action item; to be relevant for the entire college community including (at a minimum) students, faculty and other employees; and to establish a date for review and revision of the Inclusion/Diversity Plan (2-3 years from completion of first plan).
Meeting Dates: 4/26/10, 6/2/10, and 6/30/10.
