| Online
courses are offered by Georgia Perimeter College faculty over the
Internet. Using your computer, you can access course notes and
assignments on the World Wide Web (supplemented with CD-ROMs and videos
in some courses). You can communicate with your instructor and
classmates using e-mail, online chat, electronic bulletin boards, or a
combination of methods, instead of on campus meetings. Online courses
allow students to take courses from home or around the world at their
convenience. Online courses provide flexible scheduling and the
convenience of not having to travel to campus. This can be ideal for
those who must travel frequently for work, those with family
responsibilities, or those who cannot travel to campus due to
disability or transportation and scheduling difficulties.
