After five years of high-school, I dropped out with a 1.8 GPA. Nine years later I found myself suddenly and unexpectedly unemployed. I was married with two children by then, I owned a home that required constant maintenance, and I had all the debt that one might expect in such circumstances. I was dying to return to school, but I just didn't see how that was possible.
