You are invited to participate in a novel mentoring experiment that takes place in the virtual world of Second Life.
Georgia Perimeter College in collaboration with the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) at Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia College of Education have teamed to create a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Accessibility Alliance for the National Science Foundation called BreakThru. The BreakThru program is currently recruiting students who have difficulties with their STEM class due to learning challenges or disabilities to participate in an online, 3-D virtual mentoring program.
