GPCAA Board and Committee Application

The Alumni Association Board is comprised of dynamic and unique alumni who partner with the Alumni Association, the College, and the Office of Alumni Relations to represent the interests and ideas of alumni from DeKalb College, DeKalb Community College and Georgia Perimeter College.

The alumni committees include:

By-Laws Committee: Reviews and recommends ammendments to the bylaws

Finance Committee: Proposes the Alumni Association fundraising goals and operational budget

Scholarship and Awards Committee: Proposes the Alumni Association's annual awards program and oversees the recognition process and considers matters relating to Association-sponsored scholarships

Events Committee: Proposes, plans and executes alumni events that meaningfully engage alums with one another and current students

Membership Committee: Determines annual membership goals, assesses value-added benefits for members, assesses membership levels and determines incentives to encourage new memberships and renewals

The Board and all committees work closely with the Office of Alumni Relations to achieve all goals. The Board meets four times per year, and committees meet as necessary.
